I stumbled across this interesting application for windows and mac, a free 16/8-bit sound generator. Sfxr is designed as an easy way for game developers (and 8-bit enthusiasts) to generate retro computer game sounds including randomly generated explosions, laser blasts and much more. Its been a massive help in prototyping the Unity Game Project I’m currently working on. Check it out here!
