As of Wednesday 11th March 2011 my final major project, The Discovery App, was released to the public on beta v3.0. It’s been many months in the making and now currently supports desktop and iPhone. Try it out yourself!
The beta v.1 of Flux (the Unity Game project I’ve been working on) is finally up. It’s taken a lot of work, blood sweat and tears to get it to this stage and there are known bugs, but it would be great to get your feedback on it. Check it out here!!
Since starting the Unity game project Flux, tackling another software package and new scripting language has been made a lot easier with Casey Jones’ Unity tutorials. Also, checkout Flowplayer, a great way of embedding your own mp4 and flv files
Following a very successful pitch to our course leader yesterday, I thought I’d give an update to the unity game project. Flux, our group (The Crash Test Dummies) project, follows the protagonist, Flux, and his quest to restore light to the once magical land of Nebula. A Mazing Monk is a unity driven puzzle game where the aim is to guide a monk through a rubik’s cube style maze collecting karma and avoiding evil guards. I stumbled across this whilst looking for some unity game inspiration. Check it out here!!!
So as the Authorship project is drawn to a close with the essay hand-in at noon today, the group Flash/Unity game project gets into full flow.
