Over at Fabric’s blog, Bournemouth based artists Ulterior Motive are under the spotlight, receiving some well deserved recognition for their recent contribution to the Drum and Bass scene.
Since first hearing them play local Bournemouth nights (Drumfunk @ Dusk Till Dawn), I’ve been blown away by the duo’s refreshing take on Drum and Bass. UM’s dark, dirty, yet funky wobbling bass lines and analogue inspired percussion have made them a Dj’s favourite with the likes of Zero T bigging up the pair recently on Bailey’s BBC show!
