With the final season of Lost drawing to a conclusion earlier this week, I’ve had time to reflect on the turbulent/frustrating/thrilling journey of the last six seasons. Packed with an abundance of plot holes and in-continuities leaving many (and I mean many e.g. Lostpedia etc) frustrated with the fine details regarding what exactly happened in 100 odd hours of the show that promised so much and delivered so little, I simply take the stance that for what it’s worth, the show was enjoyable.
Therefore the journey rather than the destination (which even as a Lost optimist thought was a little weak to say the least) was a great experience. But for those who were left feeling frustrated and empty about the fragility of some of the narrative devices at play, here’s a short video rant illustrating your pain. Enjoy!
